About

The band

Indie rock from Stockport

Hailing from Stockport, indie rock trio The Wears have been making a name for themselves in their local music scene. Known for their hard-hitting riffs and melodic vocals, they take influence from bands such as The Killers, Foals and Nothing But Thieves to create their own infectious sound.

The Wears are well known for their energetic live performances, and have been gaining traction after winning over a loyal fanbase. They have supported notable artists such as M60 and Balancing Act, and played multiple sold-out headline shows, most recently at Manchester’s iconic Deaf Institute in front of a capacity crowd.

Their debut EP, Atlas, came out in 2024, followed by One Step Forward in 2025. The latest single, The Walls, is out now.
